SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio International Airport has new routes to fly domestic and international starting this week.
Starting Tuesday, the airport is launching nonstop flights to Monterrey, Mexico. Volaris' inaugural nonstop will offer daily flights to Monterrey International Airport.
On Monday, the airport launched a nonstop flight to Boston.
The new flights are available on Delta Airlines.
Airport officials say the new nonstop service is significant for several of the city's business sectors like bioscience, technology, and finance.
Local leaders will be at the airport on Tuesday morning to celebrate and discuss the cultural, educational, and business ties between San Antonio and Monterrey.
