SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Missions Baseball Club announced it will host “Wemby Night” to celebrate NBA Rookie of the Year award winner, Victor Wembanyama.
Wemby Night will be Wednesday, May 29 as the Missions take on the Frisco RoughRiders at Nelson Wolff Stadium. Gates will open at 6 p.m. and first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
Fans with a “Victor” or “Victoria” name will receive one free outfield reserved ticket and one order of French fries for the game. You can present your ID at the box office starting this week.
To pay homage to Wembanyama's French background, fans can also receive a free ticket and an order of French fries by bringing their pet poodle or French bulldog to the game.
Various official Victor Wembanyama memorabilia will also be raffled throughout the game.
