Driver loses control, slams into home on northwest side of town, police say

No one was hurt and the people inside the home were able to escape unharmed.

SAN ANTONIO — A car slammed into a home on the northwest side of town early Sunday morning, police say. And police are still trying to figure out what caused the driver to lose control.

San Antonio Police responded to the 1400 block of Benrus Drive near Culebra Road and Callaghan Road just after 3 a.m. Sunday for reports of a car crashing into a home.

Police say the driver stayed on the scene but it's unclear this morning if that driver will be facing charges.

No one was hurt and the people inside the home were able to escape unharmed.
