Man tells police he walking down the street when someone stabbed him

He did not know the suspect and police could not find the crime scene.

SAN ANTONIO — A man told police he was just walking down the street when someone stabbed him.

This happened around 2:20 a.m. Sunday on the 300 block of North New Braunfels Avenue, in between East Commerce Street and East Houston Street, police say.

Officers say the man was found with a stab wound and told police he did not know who had stabbed him.

Police searched the area but couldn't find the crime scene, but will continue investigating. The victim was taken to BAMC with a stab wound to his neck and is in stable condition.

No other Injuries were reported. No desrciption of a suspect was provided.
