SAN ANTONIO — A woman was arrested and is facing charges after an incident with a female Uber driver last August.

According to an arrest warrant, 39-year-old Sarah Lee called for an Uber where she was picked up and driven to her apartment on the city's east side. Lee and the driver exchanged phone numbers before going their separate ways.

The next day, the Uber driver, 49-year-old Amy Warwick received a text from Lee saying she had left her keys in the vehicle. Warwick found the keys and agreed to meet Lee to return them to her.

Once at the residence, Warwick searched through her backpack to retrieve the keys. That’s when police say Lee grabbed Warwick’s phone and accused her of stealing the keys. An altercation between the two broke out before a second unknown suspect opened Warwick’s passenger side door and rummaged through her things.

The arrest warrant states Warwick was able to retrieve the keys and return them to Lee but that’s when Lee began punching her in the face until Warwick nearly blacked out.

Warwick was able to regain her composure, grab her backpack, and leave the scene. She later called police from a nearby location to report the incident.

Lee was able to be identified in a photo lineup as the one who robbed the victim and now faces felony robbery charges.
