San Antonio Zoo offering discounts for Locals Day again on Tuesday

Don't miss out on this incredible offer to connect with nature and the amazing animals that call San Antonio Zoo their home.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Zoo is offering local residents discount admissions for Locals Day twice this week

The discount for Bexar County residents will be Sunday, September 22, and Tuesday, September 24. During Locals Days the zoo offers discount admissions for $8 per person.

While all Bexar County residents can take advantage of any Locals Day, on September 22, we'll be celebrating and highlighting District 10, and on September 24, celebrating and highlighting Precinct 1 during Zoo Boo!, Presented by PNC Bank.

The zoo says Locals Days discounts allows even more people to learn about how the zoo combines conservation, animal care, and how the zoo preserves future wildlife. It's also a way to show gratitude towards the residents of San Antonio and Bexar County.

Guests can enjoy free trick-or-treating, pumpkin spice, and everything nice at San Antonio Zoo during the Halloween season for Zoo Boo!, presented by PNC Bank. The zoo says that this year, visitors can also look forward to encountering GIANT animatronic bugs, offering an exciting chance to come face to face with larger-than-life moving creatures like bees, butterflies, spiders, dung beetles, praying mantises, and scorpions. These animatronic marvels provide perfect photo opportunities as you trick or treat, adding another layer of fun to the festivities.

Visitors will need to show proof of Bexar County residency in order to receive the discount.

The zoo said discounted admissions can be purchased online.
