Santa Paws event, silent auction at Lucy's Doggy Day Care raises money for God's Dogs Rescue

The silent aution closes on December 26 at 11 p.m.

SAN ANTONIO — Do you know what your dog wants for Christmas?

Lucy's Doggy Day Care hosted a fun event on Sunday that gave dog owners a chance to find out and get their preofessional photo with Santa at the same time!

Santa Paws was held and the money raised benefits God's Dogs Rescue

This event is one of the many initiatives of Lucy’s annual fundraiser with a goal of raising $10,000 for God’s Dogs Rescue.

"Over 100 furry friends told Santa what they wanted for Christmas," said Hannah Snyder, Lucy's Doggy Day Care. "Because of the support of the amazing community, we are excited that we not only reached our goal of $10,000 for God's Dogs Rescue, but we passed it and can't wait to see how far we go."

Lucy's Doggy Day Care is also holding a silent aution to raise even more money for the rescue. It will be open for bidding until December 26 at 11 p.m. To see the items and place your bids, visit their website.

If you win one, all silent auction items will be available to be picked up from Lucy’s Doggy Daycare and Spa Dog Park 5010 North Loop 1604 West.

One of Lucy’s Doggy Daycare and Spa’s most cherished core values is to continue Lucy’s legacy of giving back to pups in need. In fact, they give a free "Glow Up Day" to every Forgotten Friend from KENS 5 that is adopted.
