SAN ANTONIO — Police say a driver crashed into oncoming traffic, injuring another driver on Saturday before running off.
It happened around 6 p.m. in the 500 block of West Hildebrand near San Pedro Avenue.
Police say the driver had been driving erratically, causing several other accidents near Vance Jackson Road and Loop 410 before eventually crashing into a caron West Hildebrand.
The suspect then bailed out of the vehicle and took off on foot. He was eventually detained by officers.
The female victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The suspect was booked on failure to stop and render aid and failure to stop and give identification.
This is still an active investigation.
