No need to be alarmed: SAPD bomb training detonations scheduled for Wednesday

The SAPD Bomb Unit will have training detonations tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department is advising the public not to be alarmed as bomb training detonations are scheduled for Wednesday.

The SAPD Bomb Unit training detonations will happen Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the SAPD Training Academy located off Southeast Loop 410 and Moursund Avenue.

SAPD’s Bomb Squad Unit will be conducting training detonations TOMORROW, 05/15/24, from 10:00am- 1:00pm at the SAPD training academy, located off of SE loop 410 and Moursund. Please do not be alarmed.
