SAPD employee accused of threatening to kill co-workers arrested

A dispatch employee is accused of talking about a rash of shootings, then stating he will carry out his own shooting at their office.

SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio Police dispatch employee is under arrest - accused of threatening to kill his co-workers.

Investigators tell KENS 5 45-year-old Jimmy Tucker was arrested Tuesday.

He's accused of talking about a rash of shootings, then stating he will carry out his own shooting at their office. A co-worker allegedly overheard Tucker talking about shootings, saying, "One day it will happen here and I will be the one to do it."

Tucker has worked in the communications division for the city for 15 years. He faces a charge of making a terroristic threat.
