SAN ANTONIO — The lifeless body of a woman was found naked in a low-lying greenway on the northeast side of town by a passerby, police say.
The man was walking along FM 78 near Woodlake Parkway around 10 a.m. Monday when he saw the woman's body and went back out to the road to flag down law enforcement.
Officials say the woman could be anywhere from 30 to 40 years of age. There was nothing to indicate how long she had been there. Some of her belongings were found nearby.
Police are still trying to process the scene and investigate. They believe her death is suspicious in nature but did not say why.
Authorities are not sure if her death was caused by criminal activity or if she died from natural causes.
