SAN ANTONIO — A man is fighting for his life after he was found shot multiple times at an apartment complex on the west side of town, police say.
San Antonio Police responded to some apartments on the 7700 block of Skolout near Highway 90 just before 11:30 p.m. Monday for reports of a shooting in progress.
Officers say the victim, a man in his 20s, was walking near the entrance to the apartments when he got into some sort of altercation with another man. That man pulled out a gun and shot the victim four times, hitting him twice in the back and twice in the chest. That suspect then took off running.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
Police have not yet released a description of the shooter.
This is a developing story.
