Police searching for missing 15-year-old girl last seen on Monday

Yvette Sanchez, nicknamed "Bella," was last seen on the northeast side of town.

SAN ANTONIO — Officials are asking for your help in finding a missing teenaged girl who was last seen on Monday, August 26, on the northeast side of town.

Yvette "Bella" Sanchez, 15, is 5'1" tall, weighs about 90pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black hoodie, blue jeans, and carrying a gray backpack on the 1600 block of Possum Path.

SAPD wants to remind you that harboring a runaway child is a criminal offense.

A person commits an offense if he knowingly harbors a child & is criminally negligent about whether the child: 

  1. is younger than 18 years 
  2. has escaped from the custody of a peace officer, a probation officer, the Texas Youth Council, or a detention facility for children, or is voluntarily absent from the child's home without the consent of the child's parent or guardian for a substantial length of time or without the intent to return. This offense is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $4,000 and/or confinement in jail for up to a year.
