SAPD: One killed, two more sent to hospital in west-side rollover crash

One of the passengers in the vehicle was ejected from the van and died at the scene.

SAN ANTONIO — Police are investigating a deadly crash early Wednesday that killed one person and sent two more to University Hospital for their injuries.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Highway 90 at South General McMullen on the west side of town.

Police tell us that the driver of a cargo van with two passengers and roofing equipment inside it somehow slid off of the road and into the grass and rolled over. One of the vehicle's passengers was ejected from the van and died at the scene.

The driver and another passenger were taken to University Hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Officials believe the wet roads may have been a factor.

This is a developing story.
