Three injured in shooting on the east side, police say

That suspect fled from the scene following the shooting.

SAN ANTONIO — Three men were injured in a drive-by shooting on the 900 block of North Mittman Street on the city’s east side Sunday evening.

SAPD said there was an altercation between people in two vehicles, when someone in a separate blue Hyundai Sonata drove by and started shooting. That suspect fled from the scene following the shooting.

A 30-year-old man and an 18-year-old man were both shot while standing next to a vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex. The older man's injury was life-threatening, according to police. A third male victim, 69, was inside of his apartment when he was struck by a stray bullet from the shooting.

All three victims were taken to the hospital.

This is a developing story.
