SAN ANTONIO — A man was shot while walking down the street in northeast San Antonio, according to police.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 1120 block of Austin Highway near South Vandiver Road.
The 27-year-old man told officers he heard the gunshot, then felt the pain from being shot. He did not see any suspects.
When police arrived, they found the victim with an apparent gunshot wound to his lower extremity. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injury.
This shooting is still under investigation.
