SAN ANTONIO — A stabbing led to a shooting at an apartment complex on the southwest side of San Antonio.
San Antonio Police were called to the Esperanza Apartments off Southwest Loop 410 just after midnight Monday for reports of shots fired, as well as a stabbing.
A sergeant at the scene says that the two men involved both live at the complex, and have had ongoing problems with each other.
Police say a 19-year-old man stabbed an 17-year-old in his shoulder, then the victim pulled out a gun and fired at the suspect before he took off.
Police say they don't believe the other man was injured.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
This is a developing story.
