SAN ANTONIO — A man told officers he was swerving to avoid hitting a car when he lost control, jumped a curb and crashed into a home near Blossom Athletic Center near the airport.
It happened just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night on Magnolia Blossom near the SAPD North substation on Jones Maltsberger Road.
The driver says he was passed by another vehicle causing him to swerve, hit a curb and drive through a fence into the back of a house.
No one was injured in the crash. Police say there was no sign of intoxication and no charges have been filed at this time.
Heavy rescue firefighters had to work on shoring up house to ensure it was structurally sound.
