SAPD: Two teenage sisters were reported missing since Friday

SAN ANTONIO — Two teenage sisters have been reported missing from their home on the south side of San Antonio on Friday, May 24, SAPD says.

San Antonio Police are searching for Emalu and Jazmyne Hernandez were last seen on the south side of town.

Emalu, 15, is 5'4" tall, weighs about 115 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Her sister Jazmyne, 13, is 5'1" tall, weighs about 130 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair that is currently dyed dark blue.

It is unknown what the sisters were each wearing when they went missing.

Police want to remind you that harboring a runaway child has penalties.

  • is younger than 18 years 
  • has escaped from the custody of a peace officer, a probation officer, the Texas Youth Council, or a detention facility for children, or is voluntarily absent from the child's home without the consent of the child's parent or guardian for a substantial length of time or without the intent to return. This offense is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $4,000 and/or confinement in jail for up to a year.
