SAN ANTONIO — A domestic dispute turned violent early Wednesday morning, sending one man to the hospital after he was cut with a machete, police say.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 4600 block of Thousand Oaks Drive near El Sendero Street n the city's northeast side.
Officers arrived to find a man had been cut with a machete by a woman after an argument turned into a shoving match, then apparently the woman pulled out a machete and cut the man in his shoulder.
Police are now trying to determine if the weapon was used in self-defense.
The man was taken to BAMC in stable condition. The woman was detained by police for questioning.
The detectives investigating are trying to determine if the woman should be charged with aggravated assault.
