SAN ANTONIO — One woman was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds by Schertz Police Friday night, according to a press release.
The incident took place at the 11600 block of Voges Pass around 11:12 p.m. Friday.
Officials say upon arrival they found a woman who sustained a deadly injury from multiple gunshot wounds.
Medical examiners identified the woman as 30-year-old Arminda Gonzales.
One male has been detained by investigators as they try to determine a motive.
Texas Rangers are assisting Schertz Police in this investigation. Once the investigation is complete the case is expected to be handed to the Bexar County District Attorney's Office for any criminal charges filed.
Schertz Police says there is no further threat to the community as it's an isolated incident.
