Sea turtle nesting season underway, remember to stay aware!

The Amos Rehabilitation Keep says they have their first batch of Kemp's ridley eggs- a total of 83! Here's what to do if you see signs of turtle nesting.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — If your plans today or this week include hitting the beach --we have a reminder to be on the lookout for sea turtles!

The Amos Rehabilitation Keep brought in their first Kemp's ridley turtle --and collected 83 eggs!

They are vulnerable to threats such as predators or even moving cars.

If you spot a stranded turtle --you can report it calling 1-866-TURTLE-5.
