SAN ANTONIO — New apartments near the Rim in San Antonio are taking modern living to a new level. The high tech options available at Infinity at the Rim look like something out of the “Jetsons”.
The 310-unit apartment residence is located at 18130 Talavera Ridge.
Each apartment comes with Amazon Echo Dot “Alexa” entertainment and technology package upgrades are available that allow your cameras, lighting and even fans to be controlled by your Echo Dot. Built-in speakers can also be synched with Echo Dot.
The apartments also meet the “green” demands of modern apartment renters. They have an energy-efficient design, car charging stations, recycled materials throughout the units. They also feature Energy Star appliance and LED lighting in the units and the communal areas.
The communal areas are among the apartment community’s innovations. There is an infinity edge pool, a rooftop lounge, a high tech gym and spin studio with virtual sports options and on-demand fitness classes. It also has outdoor fitness equipment and sports like ping pong and bocce ball. For working professionals, there is a business center with work spaces.
The apartments opened in December and staff report it is about 55 percent filled. The costs range from $1,150 to $3,235 for studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and townhome options.
