SAN ANTONIO — A school board trustee with South San ISD was arrested and charged with evading arrest, but district officials would not say what the case is in regards to.
"Because the warrant of arrest is part of a pending law enforcement investigation and judicial proceeding, the district will reserve making any formal public comment at this time," SSAISD officials told KENS 5.
Online court records indicate, however, that a $7,500 bond was set for Abel Martinez Jr., who represents District 5 on the school board after assuming office in November 2022.
