SAN ANTONIO — A speeding driver lost control of his SUV and slammed into a cake shop northwest of town early Tuesday morning.

San Antonio Police officers responded to Letty's Cakes on Fredericksburg Road at West King's Highway around 12:26 a.m. for reports of a vehicle that had crashed into the building.
