SANANTONIO -- Despite Game 6 being played in Dallas, Spurs fans gathered at various places throughout San Antonio to root on the Silver and Black.

In northwest San Antonio happy hour started early at Fatso's Sports Garden. Hundreds of people said they wouldn't want to watch a Spurs game anywhere else.

Here you got the whole vibe, not just one particular person, but the whole place just gets lit up, J.J. Jimenez., bar patron, said of Southtown's The Friendly Spot. A good play and you feel like your just at the game.

It's an outdoor venue so fans can enjoy the great weather and the game was projected on one jumbo blow-up screen. I think it has a great catch to it (the projector) a lot of people are drawn to it, they can sit outside drink a cold beer and relax, Aaron Gonzalez, bar patron, said.

Blair Bollar said for him and his friends gathering at The Friendly Spot is more of a tradition. Mostly as a family thing we do to get together, just chill out at the table, Bollar said.

At the Ticket Sports Pub in the heart of downtown, a more traditional sports bar environment with some fans saying they like to watch the game there for it's Cheers-like environment.
