SAN ANTONIO — According to San Antonio police, four teens were arrested Saturday morning on the west side during a street takeover event that several law enforcement agencies responded to.
The incident occurred on the 1800 block of S. General McMullen around 12:33 a.m. Saturday.
Officials say covert detectives noticed a male with a ski mask carrying a handgun enter one location then walking out moments later fleeing in a vehicle.
Investigators noticed the vehicle was stolen and attempted to stop the vehicle using EAGLE when they noticed the handgun being tossed out.
The vehicle crashed and and four teens fled on foot, according to San Antonio Police.
With the assistance of K9 and DPS all four teens ranging in ages 14 to 18 were taken into custody, officials say.
A total of three weapons were recovered at the scene including one stolen firearm.
SAPD says they want to tell these takeover groups, "Don't come back."
SAPD Chief McManus tweeted, "You are not welcome here! Don't come back!"
