SAN ANTONIO — Police arrested a man they believe robbed a convenience store on the southeast side of town late Saturday night.
San Antonio Police responded to the 1900 block of Dollarhide Avenue around 11:15 p.m. for reports of an aggravated robbery.
When officers arrived at the convenience store, they were told that the 19-year-old suspect had been "ligering around" the location for several minutes prior to the robbery.
The suspect was wearing a ski mask when police say he walked behind the counter, showed a knife to the clerk, then stole several items off the shelves before running off.
An officer checked the area where he was last reported being seen and was able to apprehend the suspect without incident several blocks away.
He is charged with aggravated robbery.
This is a developing story.
