SAN ANTONIO — An adult store was burglarized early Saturday morning after business hours by a suspect who allegedly broke in through a front window, police say.
San Antonio Police responded to the Adult Megaplex located on Highway 281 North at East Nakoma Drive around 3:30 a.m. for reports of a burglary in progress.
When officers arrived, an overnight store employee told them he heard the suspect trying to break in through the window and confronted them, then called police for help.
The 33-year-old suspect dropped the stolen property he was holding and tried to run off as the police arrived.
A short pursuit on foot ensued, then officers were able to apprehend the suspect without further incident.
He was arrested for burglary of a building with intent to commit theft, as well as evading arrest.
This is a developing story.
