SAN ANTONIO — A student has been arrested for allegedly stabbing another student at LEE High School on November 6.
Cesar Rene Guajardo, 17, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
San Antonio Police responded to a call on November 6 at about 3:30 p.m. for a cutting at the high school, located at 1400 Jackson Keller Road.
North East ISD officials confirmed a tenth grade student was injured and was transported to a local hospital.
The victim and Guajardo are known to each other, police say.
According to an arrest affidavit the victim and Guajardo were walking down a hallway when Guajardo stabbed the victim in the abdomen without warning.
Police say the victim gave a description of Guajardo while at the hospital.
NEISD gave police video footage of the incident which helped identify Guajardo.
The victim positively identified Guajardo in a photo lineup.
