SAN ANTONIO — An 18-year-old was shot on the northeast side of San Antonio and he told police he was just trying to cross the street when it happened.
San Antonio Police responded to the 5300 block of Chestnut View Drive near Judson Road around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday for reports of a shooting.
The young man told police he was crossing Chestnut View Drive when someone drove up and started shooting.
He was hit in the left arm and is expected to recover.
Police do not have a description of a possible suspect at this time.
SAPD says they are investigating reports of a stolen vehicle spotted near the scene, but have not said if it is tied to the shooting or not.
