Teenager injured in drive-by shooting on the east side of San Antonio

Someone inside shot from the car from about five house away until they passed the victim. He was taken to the hospital with wounds to his legs and abdomen.

SAN ANTONIO — A teenager was injured in a drive-by shooting on the east side of San Antonio late Sunday night, SAPD said.

The shooting happened just before midnight along Lincolnshire Drive.

Police say the victim, who is in his late teens, was near his car when two dark-colored sedans drove by. Suspects inside shot from the cars from about five houses away until they passed the victim.  He was taken to the hospital with wounds to his legs and abdomen.

Officers are still investigating and have not yet identified any suspects or released any other descriptions.
