SAN ANTONIO — Texas Department of Public Safety personnel executed search warrants at two San Antonio-area motels on Tuesday morning, authorities confirmed, but the nature of the raids remain unclear.
Officials said searches were conducted at an Econo Lodge and Deluxe Inn "as part of an ongoing investigation." DPS officials didn't specify the motel locations, but while there are multiple Econo Lodges in the city, the lone Deluxe Inn is on the far west side near U.S. Highway 90 and West Military.
Regarding other specifics, DPS Spokesperson Kenny Mata said only that "to protect the integrity of this investigation, no further details will be released at this time."
