A 20-year-old Texas State student is facing more than a dozen felony charges and years in prison after being accused of making fake IDs.
These days Texas drivers licenses feature holograms and micro-print that you can barely make out with the naked eye. But, the San Marcos Police Department said the fakes they uncovered also have these 'security' features.
Authorities claim Jake Thomas Waldrep, an engineering student at Texas State, somehow came up with a template for a temporary license. They say after a month-long investigation, dozens of fake IDs were traced back to Waldrep.
