Three people scramble for safety after shots fired into west-side apartment, police say

One of them was grazed by a bullet on their cheek.

SAN ANTONIO — Three people scrambled for safety after someone started firing shots into their west-side apartment, police say.

San Antonio Police responded to the 1100 block of Colima Street near South Brazos Street around 3 a.m. Wednesday for reports of shots fired.

A mother, son, and a third adult man were in the apartment when someone started shooting through the door. One of the bullets went through the door and grazed the man on the cheek. He was taken to BAMC in stable condition.

Police do not have any information on any suspects.

SAPD will be investigating.
