Two teens in critical condition after being shot by suspect who fled from the scene

One of the victims was shot in the neck and the other was shot in the back.

SAN ANTONIO — Two teenagers are in critical condition after a suspect shot them both on the east side of town late Monday evening.

San Antonio Police responded to the intersection of Coleman Street and Bee Street, which is not far from North Walters Street, around 10:53 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the location, they found two teenage boys critically injured with gunshot wounds. One was shot in the neck and the other one was shot in the back. They were both taken to BAMC.

Police say that a man confronted the pair and shot them, then ran away. No description was provided of the suspect or what may have led up to the shooting.

No other injuries were reported.

This is a developing story.
