Undercover operation ends with four people arrested, SAPD says

Officials say they didn't get far after running and all four were arrested.

SAN ANTONIO — According to San Antonio Police, an undercover mission ends with four people arrested who were driving a stolen car early Saturday morning.

The incident took place around 12:30 a.m. Saturday when San Antonio Police Covert Unit spotted the stolen car outside a southside convenience store.

Officers say a man wearing a mask and armed with a gun walked into the store but then a short time later walked out.

Investigators think the guy was going to rob the place but got spooked by something inside.

DPS and SA PD's SWAT Team trailed the car until the driver crashed out at QT near North Star Mall. That's when officers say the four people inside the stolen car bailed out and ran.

Officials say they didn't get far and all four were arrested.

SAPD says they found two guns inside the stolen car.
