VIA to offer park and ride services to popular Fiesta events

There is also a special promotion offering free sodas to VIA's park and ride event customers.

SAN ANTONIO — VIA Metropolitan Transit is once again providing park and ride transportation to major Fiesta events.

The service will be provided from April 20-28 to some of the most popular events.

The fare is $2.50 each way with discounts available for children, seniors, students, and active-duty members of the military. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Park & Ride locations. VIAtrans customers and children under age 5 can ride for free.

There is also a special promotion offering free sodas to VIA’s park and ride event customers. Any person who rides the special event service to St. Mary’s University for Oyster Bake or the Sunken Garden for the Taste of New Orleans will get a coupon for one free soft drink, while supplies last.
