SAN ANTONIO — A water main break on the east side of town caused some slow traffic Thursday afternoon.

San Antonio Water Systems reported the 12-inch main break just after 2 p.m., saying repairs were expected to shut down the stretch of road for up to six hours. By 5:15 p.m., however, SAWS said the fixes had been made.

They also said it does not appear many homes were affected.

Traffic cameras showed flooding along with access road and cars carefully avoiding the heaviest part of the flooding. No injuries have been reported.
