SAN ANTONIO — A water main break on the northeast side of town has caused the on-ramp to be closed, and backing up traffic.

Officials say the on-ramp is closed due to water main break on the frontage road and I-35 Frontage North at I-410, is backed up to North New Braunfels Avenue. This happened around 6:14 a.m. Wednesday.

Traffic is being diverted into the Widsor Park Shopping Center parking lot to get around the issue. Expect delays.

This is a developing story.
