SAN ANTONIO — A man in a wheelchair was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street on the west side, according to police.
The man, 58, was crossing the intersection of Historic Old Highway 90 and Arvil Avenue around 9:49 p.m. Thursday night.
While he was crossing, police say a vehicle hit him without stopping and rendering aid.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition with some large lacerations, according to police.
This incident is still under investigation and when found, the driver of the vehicle will be charged with collision involving injury.
