SAN ANTONIO — A man in a wheelchair was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street on the west side, according to police.
The man, in his 50s, was crossing the intersection of Historic Old Highway 90 and Arvil Avenue around 9:49 p.m. Thursday night.
While he was crossing, police say a vehicle hit him without stopping and rendering aid.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition with some large lacerations, according to police.
This incident is still under investigation and it's unclear if any arrests have been made.
