SAN ANTONIO — A woman and a 15-year-old girl were shot while in their car on the city's east side late Friday night.
Police say the woman and teenager were heading down Belmont Street, near North New Braunfels Ave. around 10 p.m. when someone in another car started shooting at them.
The woman reportedly tried to reverse her car to get away and ended up backing into the front yard of a home. She and the teenager were both shot and were rushed to the hospital.
Police say they are currently in stable condition.
Officers are still looking for the people who shot them and no arrests have yet been made.
