Argument turns deadly: Woman dies after falling off moving truck, police say

After an argument, a woman tried to jump on the man's vehicle while he tried to leave, causing her to slide off and hit her head. She was later pronounced dead.

SAN ANTONIO — A 32-year-old woman is dead after a domestic argument turned deadly on the northwest side of town, police say.

According to authorities on scene, at about 1:33 a.m. Saturday morning a woman and man were having an argument near the 17800 block of La Cantera Terrace in front of the Elian Apartment complex.

When the man drove away, police say the woman grabbed onto the truck. Attempting this caused her to slide off and hit her head.

She was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition where she was ultimately pronounced dead.

The suspect fled the scene, and when caught faces a failure to stop and render aid resulting in death charge. As of now that suspect has not been arrested.
