SAN ANTONIO — One woman was left with only minor injuries after her vehicle was struck by a train early Saturday morning, according to San Antonio Police.
The incident took place near the Alamodome near Austin St. and Burleson St. around 2:45 a.m. Saturday.
Police say the woman tried crossing the tracks and when she saw the train arms coming down panicked and stopped on the tracks.
The train slammed into the car, spinning it around and dragged the vehicle down the tracks, according to officers.
The woman was shaken up and checked for minor injuries.
