SAN ANTONIO — A woman is in critical condition after being hit by a car on the south side.
The woman was crossing the road at the intersection of Roosevelt and Mission Road at about 2:16 a.m. Thursday morning.
Witnesses say the suspect did have the green light but showed signs of intoxication. They also had a child passenger at the time, according to authorities.
The driver stopped and rendered aid but was detained by police under the suspicion of DWI.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
