SAN ANTONIO — A woman was killed after being hit by possibly more than one vehicle on the west side of town early Monday morning, according to police.
San Antonio Police responded to the Loop 410 access road, in between West Military Drive and Culebra Road around 1:09 a.m. for reports of a person being hit by a vehicle.
When officers arrived at the location they found a woman in her late 40s or early 50s who had been hit by at least one vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are now relying on witnesses to help put together the facts. Several people told officers they saw an SUV hit the woman. However, they weren’t sure if that was the only car to run over the victim.
Investigators are trying to figure out if she was crossing the road, or if she may have jumped from a flyover onto the street when she was hit.
For now, police say her death remains under investigation.
