SAN ANTONIO — A woman was killed in a deadly rollover crash on the far south side early Sunday morning, authorities say.
San Antonio police responded to an accident on Del Lago Parkway and Vermillion around 1:30 a.m.
According to police the driver was heading south on Del Lago Parkway and somehow lost control of the car and rolled onto the roof of the vehicle.
Authorities say two people were inside the car at the time of the accident.
The woman driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene and investigators say she was not wearing a seatbelt.
A male passenger was checked out by EMS and was released on scene with no injuries. Police say the man was wearing a seatbelt.
Authorities say speed may have been a factor in the accident. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
No other information was provided.
