SAN ANTONIO — A rescue by firefighters in a drainage ditch leads to one woman being hospitalized and possibly another left missing as heavy rains swept through the area Thursday night, according to San Antonio Police.
The incident occurred in a ditch on Babcock Road and Leming Drive around 10 p.m. Thursday.
Officials say she was sleeping in a drainage ditch before she was swept away into a tunnel. The woman told police she was with another person prompting a search by rescue crews.
No other person has been found and the woman is in stable condition.
