Woman's ex-boyfriend stabs new boyfriend following argument, police say

Police are still looking for the suspect at this time.

SAN ANTONIO — An argument between a woman's current and ex-boyfriend ended in violence, with the new stabbed in the abdomen, SAPD says.

San Antonio Police responded to the 4900 block of Arbor Ridge Drive near Callaghan Road northwest of downtown just before 2 a.m. Monday for reports of a disturbance.

Police tell us one a man showed up to his girlfriend’s home in the Rolling Ridge Townhomes, but she wasn’t the only person in the house. Authorities say the ex-boyfriend was also there.

An argument resulted in the parking lot and at some point, the ex-boyfriend stabbed the current boyfriend in the abdomen.

First responders rushed the victim to University Hospital in stable condition. At this time, his condition is unknown.

As for the suspect, he ran from the scene following the stabbing. 

This investigation remains ongoing.
