In honor of Women's History Month, here are some female-owned San Antonio restaurants

Dozens of people weighed in Facebook with their top picks for woman-owned restaurants and bakeries.

SAN ANTONIO — March is Women's History Month, and in that spirit, KENS 5 is putting together a list of female-owned restaurants in San Antonio.

A member of the "San Antonio Restaurants" Facebook page posed the question, "I’d love to patronize and support some women-owned restaurants. What’s you’re favorite woman-owned restaurant in the area?" The responses numbered in the dozens with many people weighing in on their top picks.

From barbeque to Asian food to coffee shops, here is a full list of female-owned restaurants, cafes, bakeries and other eateries in San Antonio and surrounding areas. If you know of any other places that should be added to the list, please email news@kens5.com.
